Springs Day

Our current activities for this term includes Enviro Day which coincides with the annual Spring Day. Appreciation of nature entails a conscious effort to preserve our environment, beautifying our surroundings and always reflecting on its impact on our lives.
This Friday ( 5 September) our learners guided by our teachers showed their concern to their environment by planting flowers at the entrance of the school. There was a buzz of activities as each cluster of learners carefully planted their labelled flowers which were selected by Ismail Seedat,an expert in gardening.. One could sense their excitement in the manner they carried out their tasks. There was meticulous planning which created a special bonding with nature. Also our learners had a direct experience of knowing the varieties of plant life. Another valuable lesson they learnt was the importance of protecting our environment at all times.
