By accessing and using this Website (https://www.uict.org.za), the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions that are set out below:

The User may not use, reproduce, duplicate, copy, download, duplicate any content found on the website for marketing or any other purpose without the express written permission of the Provider. The User is also prohibited from selling any content found on this Website. 

All confidential information required for the processing of donations and contributions using the electronic commerce facility, for example: Users personal details, credit card details and telephone numbers, will be kept in the strictest confidence and not sold or made known to third parties.

While the Provider undertakes to take all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing is carried out to receive payment and donations, the Provider cannot be held responsible for any security breaches occurring on the Users side. This may result in a lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may have accidentally installed on his/her devise. 

The Provider shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of all its Users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payments may be made via Visa and MasterCard. Card transactions will be acquired for the Provider via PayGate (PTY) who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. Customer details will be stored by the Provider separately from card details which are entered by the client on Paygate’s secure site. For more details on Paygate refer to www.paygate.co.za. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

The User may visit the Website without providing any personal information for casual surfing. The Website servers will in such instances collect the IP address and not the e-mail address. This information is collected for the purpose of measuring the number of visits, time spent, pages viewed, etc. The Provider uses this information to improve the content of the Website.

The Provider may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice. Users must be 18 years and older to accept or act upon any offers presented in this Website.
