Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever offers his qurbani (sacrificial animal) with a content heart and hopes its reward only from Allāh Ta‘ālā, this (animal) will be a shield protecting him from the fire of Jahannam.” (Tabarānī, al-Mu‘jam al-Kabīr)
